My dream is to become a well-rounded individual and successful in life but in order to fulfull those dreams I have to set goals. I have several goals I want to accomplish in order to reach my dreams and the first of the goals is to go to college. I want to further my education by attending a four-year college and get a degree in Business Management. However, in college I would also like to play soccer and play for a college that has a recognized soccer program. I believe that being involved in athletics in my high school career has allowed me to become a stronger and better student and that is why I would like to continue with this path in college.
I have enjoyed playing soccer for MANY years and has kept me "grounded" as an individual. I'm passionate about the sport of soccer. Being involved in athletics in school holds a person up to a higer standard for both grades and character and I firmly believe that my involvement in the soccer program at Edwardsville High School has pushed me to rais the bar and focus on my academics and how I carry myself in school.
So, my dreams, goals, and aspirations to be successful in life will most definitely have many steps, but I hope that one of those steps will be to play soccer in college! As the Walt Disney Company said, "If you can dream it, you can do it."
