Gary Sexson III '14 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is a sport I started playing in grade school for recreation, but soon realized it was something I was passionate about and something I thoroughly enjoyed.  My parents have also taught me the value of a college education.  With those ideals and passion in mind, it is my goal to play soccer in college and receive a college degree.  Although the reason to attend college is to get an education, I am hoping my soccer skills can help me not only find an excellent institution to play at, but also possibly help fund this costly endeavor.  I am willing to travel wherever life takes me to attain these goals.

Although I feel I am a good student and soccer player, I think my biggest attributes are that I am coachable, team orientated and a smart player.  I realize that a team must work together to attain their goals.  I realize that good players are important, but good players with a common focus and goals that work together create a winning combination.  I would like to contribute my talents to a like minded program to play a game I love, and ultimately get an education and the skills needed to succeed beyond college.
