JorgeLuis Correa '15 Recruiting Profile

I plan to be someone big. Whether I follow my dream towards the Automotive Industry, or decide to help society politically, my one hope for life is to never leave soccer behind. I am a player who knows the pitch well. I have played every position from Goalkeeper to Forward. This has helped me think and play like my opponents and my teammates at all times, which is a special skill I pride myself in. I am a game changer and I play every 90 minutes of a game as if it's my last. I can defend properly, my first touch comes naturally to me, and I have a good 360 degree vision of my surroundings in a game. I hope to succeed in my academic goals, as well as my athletic goals. I want to play at the collegiate level and hopefully beyond. Soccer has always pushed me to do my best in academics and academics have always pushed me to do my best in soccer. My high school has not been around long. We have only had 2 graduating classes. However, I am proud to say that I was able to captain my team into reaching the Regional Final in the State Tournament, twice. It is not far, but it sets a precedent for future teams and that was my goal as a captain.
