Richard Dominguez '17 Recruiting Profile

 I have always dreamed of playing soccer at the high level possible. Ever since I started watching soccer, I always dreamed on being on TV. I dreamed to play professional and if I can at the college level as well. I started playing soccer when I was three. When I turned 7 I decided raise my level and become a better player. So I began playing soccer at the premier level. 

    Through out my career I have played for two great premier teams and one Pre-Academy team. Club problems (not including me) lead me to try new airs. Thus I had to play for my high school team. My Freshman year did not go as planned. An injury in pre-season affected me. I was fit for the beginning of the season, but I was not in my coaches plans. I made varsity but sat on the bench most the games. Rarely got opportunities to play and I got really frustrated. My moral was down but I never showed it. I scored 2 goals that season. By Sophomore year, everything turned 360 degrees. I trained harder and finally earned a spot on the starting team. I played a key role in the midfield and started every game but one. I scored 2 goals and was the leading assistor on my team. By my Junior year, again starter. Played every game but one.  Scored 6 goals and gave 3 assists. Plus making it to the State Quarter-Finals.  For my Senior year, I will be the captain of the team and I am looking forward to a great season. My story is perfect example of never giving up. Life will put us down, but its our choice to get up or not.

    As a player I play central attacking midfield, but mainly center forward. My strengths are the ability to see the field, my technical ability, and my eye for goal.  My coaches have all loved me being a part of their teams because I bring heart and dedication. Humbleness and 100% comes with me wherever I go. 

     I feel that I bring heart and passion to any team I am on. I always strive for the best and always humble. No player is perfect so for me there is always room for improvement.
