Xavier Fegan '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’11” goalie from Storrs, CT and will graduate in the 2013 class. I have played Northeast United Premier Soccer Club for 5 years and one year of Rio Vista in New Mexico. I started for Edwin O. Smith varsity and I was the assistant captain. I am a leader to my teammates and I take the role of being a leader on and off the field seriously. As the oldest of seven kids, this translates into a heavy responsibility off the field. I want to be the first to not only go to college in my family but also succeed. During my freshman year of high school, I started school in New Mexico and finished in Storrs. To say the least, the move was hard on my grades. The following year, I had rebounded with renewed focus on my academics and would welcome any questions in this area.

Ideally I would like to be at a medium size school that is not too crowded but still has a good amount of students. I am interested in schools all over no matter how far away. Financial assistance is preferred since I am one of seven children. Ideally I would like to be at a program where I would make a big contribution early in my career.
