My High School team earned Conference Champs, and made it to the Elite 8 for the first time my sophomore year. This was the most successful season our school has ever seen for soccer. During this season we had 11 seniors. Therefore I saw very minimal playing time, but it taught me a lot about leadership and working hard. The returning season I was named captain, along side one of the eight seniors on the team. I believe that because of my time on the bench the previous season, diligently watching and learning is what allowed me to gain that title. That's what I believe i can bring to a team; smart, on the spot, critical learning. In tight games a mentally strong player will do better than even some of the fittest. I know that I am a mentally strong player, and one who realizes that little things can mean a whole bunch in the big picture.
I currently have a 3.60 GPA, and I am looking to go into a sports medicine field of work. Sports Medicine interests me because it is a goal of mine to stay around sports for as long as I can. Being able to watch an injury happen and then work with the athlete to recover from that injury sounds so fun and interesting to me. I would like to compete in college at a highest level possible. It does not matter at what level as long as your school has a Kinesiology/Chiropractic degree. I am looking for school's with a selective academic program seeing that there is a small chance of actually making a career out of soccer, and I want to set myself up with a strong academics for life after college.
