Soccer has been a inspirational activity for me during my life for many years. I began playing rec soccer at the age of 3yrs and love it everyday. I have a great passion for the game and love my positions at outside midfielder & center back. On the field my most dangerous quality is my versatility and ability to play nearly any position.
My most recent accomplishment was an invitation to play with '03 Denver Rush DA team. Unfortunate events surrounding my move to another city prevented my experience from happening but I am still very proud to know my ability at center back would have been cherished by the coach and team.
I am also very comfortable with the ball and love the fact that I am ambidextrous with my feet. I am a very technical player and have a natural ability of keeping the ball. Another I feel I poses is my positioning by keeping the game spread out and wide.
These skills in addition to my selfless understanding of the game also allow me to become a dangerous midfielder who can create opportunities for my teammates while also posing both offensive and defensive threats. One great quality coaches find in me is leadership. I help my teammates with positioning and keeping our heads up when we lose or win.
My leadership qualities are not only used on the field but also in an academic and volunteer community as well. I hope to show these qualities everywhere I go.
School is very important to me as I know that without a good education my future could be jeopardized. I strive to be a strong student and apply the skills that I am learning and have learned to everyday activities, and those events in the future. My middle school project based learning will help me be a problem solver in high school.
My plans for college consist of soccer opportunities with a high level of play. As I am undecided on my degree at this moment, I feel like the best path for me will be in the field of Sports Management or Real Estate. I am certain that the field of business will be upheld in my future.
