Gianni Pagliuca '11 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer since I was five years old and the first time I touched the ball I fell in love. I played all throughout the years and never got bored of it. i always dreamed of playing soccer in college and than professionally but I knew it was a long shot. Currently I am 5'7" and weigh 140 lbs. I've always been looked at for how fast I was and how I always managed to get the ball one on one with the keeper. I am personally a very handy player and tend to play by myself most of the time unless I'm playing bad. I will never get angry from losing and I will never get cocky when winning. I am a team player and if people complain and/or yell at others I will be first there to shut them up and get them to keep playing. My best accomplishment was probably playing Varsity Junior year. We won nearly every season game and ended up in the NCS finals where to our dissapointment lost 1-0 to De La Salle. At this point for college, I am open for any school where I can play. Personally I would prefer a large school well known as compared to a small or private school. I would play in hot or cold, rain or shine, turf or grass, etc. etc. My family and I would like help, for we need finacial aid and a scholarship would be amazing. Currently my desired major is undecided but I hope in a couple years or so I will have made my choice. My goals involve playing soccer in collge and at the highest competition level possible, to lead my team and I to victory and win many competitions.
