My name is Francisco Arevalo and I am a senior at Palma High School in Salinas, Ca.
I am a very hard working, competitive person academically and athletically. I have worked hard these past few years to be a starter in varsity my sophomore year despite facing many challenges. This goal is just one out of the many on my list. I never give up on and off the field and leave nothing of myself at the end of a game. When the other team is winning, it makes me want to work harder even if some teammates think it's over. I am not content to be anything but the best I can be and I will study longer, train harder, and keep working hard until I accomplish my goals and those of my teachers and coaches. I feel that wherever I am, I can train harder and be better.
My sophomore year on varsity, I scored two goals, and I also assisted two goals. I earned a place on the All-League First Team of the Monterey Bay Pacific League. My Junior year while on varsity, I scored one goal, and I earned a place on the All-League Second Team of the Monterey Bay Pacific League.
When my high school career is over, I want to be known as a great student and I want to be remembered as a great soccer player.
