Soccer has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. The countless hours I have spent not just on the field, but revolving around all aspects of the games has had a strong influence on making me the determined hardworking individual I am today. Soccer has brought me and many of my friends close together, as we all share the love for this sport. The saying "hard work pays off" definitely applies here, as I have made countless sacrifices to make practices, scrimmages, and games. Being able to play soccer at such a high level of skill is not only good for me physically, but mentally as well. Being able to take a break from life's everyday realities and focus on an activity that I truly enjoy doing at any given time is very therapeutic to me. I could not imagine my life without soccer, as it has always been a relaxing outlet in my life. I consider myself well focused, hardworking, and determined; all traits I have acquired from soccer. When I am on the field I feel insightful to what is ahead of me, always anticipating the play ahead.
