I have been playing soccer since I was eight years old, and goalkeeper since I was nine years old. I have never stopped playing, and I have always been determined to go far in my life as a soccer player, which includes playing at the college level. The goalkeeper coach for my high school (La Quinta High School) describes me as a hard worker always wanting to work on skills that need a little help and practice. He tells me that I have grown so much since he chose me to be in the program.
Although I am very hardworking and determined as a soccer player, I do also work hard in school. As a student athlete, I do believe that school comes first. I am a member of the Medical Health Academy at my high school, which is a California partnership academy. I plan to continue to work hard throughout my education.
