David Yakim '17 Recruiting Profile

I come from a family that has been involved and dedicated to soccer. My older brothers played soccer in the High School team but none of them made to play in college. I'm looking forward to be the first one in my family to play Collegiate Soccer to make them proud of me and honor their hard work with me to become a collegiate athlete. My strengths in soccer consists of having great vision in the field because i love to watch soccer and look at players that play in my spot and learn from them, being skillful player from playing indoor tournaments has increased my ability to take a lot of players with my skills. Also i am very quick learner, very competitive player, can handle playing under pressure, and i can play in different positions. My preferable strength is being a team player, my team always comes first also i am the captain of the high school team. i have the ability to help my team to get pumped, to get better, and also the ability to work hard. Everyday i learn something new in life and soccer which i add it to my knowledge to help myself reach my goals and get better from a day to another. 
I have started playing competitive soccer for 3 years by playing in junior high school soccer team, my high school team, for Cypress Futbol club, and in indoor tournaments. Competing in different levels, cultures, and with different people made me a mature player who can interact with different kind of teammates and get in the group in a very little time. My collegiate goals are to play for a College Soccer team, lead my team to be Champions,to play in a professional club, to be part of my National Soccer Team and lead it with my teammates to win World Cup. As I have goals in soccer i also have academic goal, my goal is to graduate from High School with 3.5 GPA and get a degree to be Graphic Designer. I'm really eager to achieve all my goals.
