Nathan Andersen '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nathan Andersen and I live in San Diego, California, and will graduate in 2013. I have been playing soccer since age 6 and it has been an aspiration of mine to play college soccer for a long time. I am a 6'2" 165 pound Defender and play either CB or RB. I have been on the Varsity soccer team for my high school since my freshman year. We won CIF-SD Championship 2011, 2012, and 2013. I joined Albion SC (White) as starting CB in July 2012, and since then we finished as Finalist in Albion Cup (BU19 Showcase bracket); #2 Coast League (U19 Premier bracket); and currently semi-finalist in Far West Regional League (BU18), awaiting final games. We are playing in National League Tournament and Surf Cup in November 2012. Previously I was with Nado Select, and for past 3 years I have been playing 1-age bracket older as starting RB with Nado's Premier Elite Team. We finished as QF 2 years in a row at Cal South National Cup ('12, '11), 1st in Cerritos Cup ('12), 1st Nomads Thanksgiving ('10), 2nd Nomads College Showcase ('12); 1st Manchester Cup ('10), 1st Crown City Classic ('10) and QF Cal South State Cup ('10). I am looking for a school where I can excel in academics as well as soccer. As of now, I am very interested in Business as my major.  My current weighted GPA is 4.0 and my Senior year includes 4 AP classes, so I hope to push my GPA even higher. I am looking forward to playing soccer in college to keep my love of the game alive, and to challenge and test myself at the next level. I am confident that I will acheive what I set my mind to and plan to make an impact on any team I join.
