2011 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Andrew Orozco and I am a Junior at Coronado High School. My whole life, I have strived to make a name for myself. I work hard in school and am still dreading my first B. Growing up, I played a variety of sports including, but not limited to, football, surfing, lacrosse, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Of all of the sports listed, the one that most ignited my passion was soccer. After this realization, I worked tirelessly to improve my game. Nowadays, I find myself thinking a lot about my future. I have decided that one of my aspirations is to play the game at the next level. I hope to compete against athletes and players from around the nation and gain experience as both a soccer player and a person. I have heard from many people that the college I attend will have a profound affect on the way I approach my future. With this in mind, I plan on doing the best I can to find the college that I can most identify with in every way I can think of. My whole life, I have strived to make a name for myself, and it is my ambition that with the choice of college I make in the next year and a half or sooner, I will be able to do just that.
