Jacob Millorino '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Millorino and I was born and still live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I have been playing lacrosse for five years, since I was in 7th grade. I have been in love with the sport ever since my friend first put a stick in my hands. My best contributions to my teams would have to be my stick skills and my ability to be loud and communicate with my teammates. I have been playing lacrosse nonstop since 7th grade as I have played on my school teams as well as club teams. I have also started on varsity since I was a freshman and been named First Team All Conference Longstick Midfield two times in a row. The club teams I have been on include Pittsburgh Aces U15, U19, Pittsburgh Selects U15, U17, and this summer I played for Pittsburgh Elite U19. My elite team won the Colonial Cup at Robert Morris University and went 21-9 as a combined summer record. As a person I am very loud which reflects on the lacrosse field as I can call plays or slides out for the rest of my team to hear. Being loud has also made me somewhat of a leader as people tend to listen to me because I am the loudest. I have also taken it upon myself to show the younger players on my high school team how to get better and worked with them one on one. I am looking for a school that is more urban and one that is a medium populated school. I am also looking to play lacrosse but my main priority is education. I am looking for a major in the business field. My goals for college are to make an impact on my team I believe I have the intensity and motivation to hang in there with players with 2 or more years of college experience.
