Dear Coach,
Thank you in advance for taking the time to look at My Profile.
My name is Jake Manion. My dream is to play high level lacrosse in college while achieving high-academic standards.
My commitment to you is that I will work every day to help your lacrosse team achieve excellence both on and off the field.
I am a big, strong, fast and athletic lacrosse player from Episcopal Academy in Southeast Pennsylvania.
I can score, facilitate others, dig for GB’, clear and play lock down defense (see highlights).
I play midfield and attack for Episcopal Academy (PA) and Mesa Lacrosse.
When I take the field I play tough hardnosed lacrosse and I compete with the best in the country every day.
The players on my high school team last year included Andrew McMeekin (Princeton ‘26), Matt McCarthy (Penn ’26), TJ Lamb (Cornell ’27), Tristan Whitaker (Vermont ’26), Eddie Jones (Villanova ’27), Lucas Slate (Richmond ’27) and Dylan Jaszcz (Penn State ’28).
Episcopal finished ranked #41 in the Country by Inside lacrosse in 2022 and we think we are going to be much better in 2023.
I expect to be a significant contributor to what is certain to be a nationally recognized team in 2023.
These are my most recent accolades:
- Varsity Player at Episcopal - Sophomore Year in both Lacrosse and Football
- Leading goal scorer and playmaker on the EA Junior Varsity Team as a sophomore in the highly competitive Inter-Ac League
- NXT Boys Atlantic Showcase - All-Star Selection 2022
- Summer 2022 - recognized by Brett Manney as a standout and a player to watch - "Manney's Men" selection 2022;

- Honors and AP classes – I scored a perfect 5 on the National AP History Exam as a Sophomore
In addition lacrosse is in my blood. I have had a lacrosse stick in my hand since I could walk. My father Sean Manion played four years and was a two-year starter at the University of Delaware (with All-American players like John Grant, Anthony DiMarzo and Kevin Lavey) and my uncle Brian is one of the all-time leading goal scorers in the history of Widener University Lacrosse.

Thanks in advance,
- Jake Manion
