Ryan Gruett '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Gruett.  I am a 6'1" junior Defense Lacrosse player from Lititz, PA.  I played as a Varsity starter my sophomore year and junior year.  As a sophomore I was given an award as an All Star Honorable Mention longstick midfielder and as a junior I was given the award for 2nd team as an All Star close defense player. As a senior I was given the 1st team award as an All Star close defense player. This summer I was chosen to play on the All Star team at the Top 205 Camp and I was also chosen for the 2012 Brine National All American team for Pennsylvania.
I am a Defense player, but I also play Long Stick Middie and I also use to play Middie. In the summer I play on a club team called Blue Mountain Lacrosse.
To stay in shape for Lacrosse I work out with a trainer 4 times a week at the Power Trainer Institute which is a world class institute that trains professional athletes. In the fall I play football. My positions are middle and outside linebacker, running back and a punt returner on special teams. I made the 2nd All Star team for Outside Linebacker.

When on the field I am a self-motivator and a hard worker.  I am also a team player who is driven.  One of my goals as a young athlete is to continue to play Lacrosse while attending college.

I would like to pursue a Business Degree with an emphasis in Sports Management.
