When I was in 5th grade, a good friend of my parents put a lacrosse stick in my hand. I really did not know much about the sport. I had been playing football for the local club team and also earned my junior black belt in karate. As soon as I began to learn the game, I knew this was the sport for me! I began to play as much as I could--in the fall, summer and winter. My dream is to play lacrosse in college. It is a major goal for myself. I am working diligently to accomplish this dream. Attending a great college will ensure me a bright future in whatever type of business I choose. Maybe someday, I can put a lacrosse stick in a child's hand and open up a world of possibilites for them!
