I have been playing lacrosse for 7 years with the Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Organization of the Ontario Lacrosse Association, as a member of the 2020 Edge Elite Lacrosse Team, a member of the St. Michael’s College School Varsity Lacrosse team, and a member of the U15 Team Ontario program.
I take the concept of student athlete very seriously, and focus my attention on both my studies and my athletic activities. I keep myself very active at my school by getting involved with numerous extracurricular activities, such as the Stock Market and Fishing Clubs.
I am a left-handed attack and play a little midfield when needed. I stand at a height of 5’9” and weigh 156 pounds. Although I am a dominant left-handed attack, I still have the ability to pass and shoot on my right hand. Even though I am not completely ambidextrous I can still play comfortably on both. Another asset of mine is the ability to create space of my dodge and beat my defender. This either causes me to get to the cage and score or draw a defender so I can pass to the open man. Something that sets me apart from my American counterparts is my ability to maneuver the ball in tight spaces, which I have acquired playing the indoor game of box lacrosse in the Ontario Lacrosse Association. I am a very aggressive dodger trying to score every chance I get but not forcing it. I play both offence and defensive ends of the field and can play comfortably in any situation.
I believe it is the combination of my athleticism and dedication to my studies that helps me maintain my edge amongst my peers. I am certain that I am the type of young man that you would want to represent your university lacrosse program.
