~~Competitive sports at a high level runs in my veins. I began my career in sports at the young age of 4 years old taking the ice to learn to play ice hockey. My hockey career progressed from the age of 4 to the age of 16 playing at various levels of travel hockey. I competed at the highest level possible for my age group which was AAA hockey. Hockey has helped groom me into the competitive lacrosse player that I am today. I have been playing lacrosse for the past eight years and always had a love for both sports, this year I have realized that my heart is with the sport of lacrosse and I have decided to focus on playing at the most competitive level that I can. My work ethic and competitiveness as well as my aggressiveness has greatly influenced my success in both of these sports.
One of my strongest attributes are my stick skills, hockey has helped prepare me for the quick hands that are needed for the game of lacrosse. I am a strong, left handed defenseman that always has my teams back, we win and lose as a team. Groundballs come naturally to me thanks to the hockey background, I am able to pop the ball out to myself and head down the field.
My biggest competitor is myself on and off the field. I will work hard to attain my goals as well as my grades. To achieve success you have to play smart on the field, as well as in the classroom. Without strong grades you don’t step a foot on the field. I will always work hard academically in order to make sure I am able to be a part of my team on the field!
