I have always had a passion for sports. However, after having had the experience of playing soccer, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, and football, at this point in my life I have limited myself to participating in organized lacrosse and football. I can honestly say that my greatest love is the game of lacrosse, which I have played since 2010. The only position I have played, and ever wanted to play was Goalie. The goalie position is the equivalent of a quarterback. I love that because it is a position of leadership. As the leader of the team you must rally your teammates and direct them throughout the course of the game to allow them to be at their absolute best, and to generate a win over the opponent. Leadership also has tremendous responsibility associated with it. I have embraced that responsibility in the passed, and I look forward to continue to do so at the college level. In addition to practices and conditioning associated with organized lacrosse, I have a personal trainer who works with me three times per week. I have been working with him since December of 2015. This intensive training has allowed me to greatly improve my game over last year, in addition to reaching personal goals insofar as my weight, strength, speed and style of play are concerned. This can be seen when viewing my highlight film. Dedication to achieve my goals is a significant part of my personality. Another quality I possess and value above all others is loyalty. That is to say loyalty to faith, yourself, your family, your team, and your coach. I believe that you never quit, and that you always finish the task you have started. Success is nothing without character and a moral compass. If my athletic ability affords me the privilege to play lacrosse at the professional level, I would certainly welcome the opportunity. In addition to the many athletic rewards associated with playing Division I lacrosse, I more importantly, want to use my athletic skills to obtain a quality college education as a student athlete. My interest is in the area of finance and international business, because I believe this will allow me to have the opportunity to be innovative, and one day create a successful business. A successful business career will enable me to support myself and my family should I marry, because we all know there is life after lacrosse. Living a productive and successful life will enable me to follow the Woody Hayes motto of "paying forward", in other words, giving back to my alma mater and my community.
