Let me begin with saying that I love the sport of lacrosse. This has not always been true. In the 7th grade I stopped playing for a year to try track and field. I wasn't getting much playing time and wasn't confident about playing and that's why I stopped. Now, ever since I started back up in the 8th grade, I have gained a new found confidence in the sport and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am now a starter on the varsity team as a sophmore and a huge goal of mine would be to continue playing lacrosse in college! Playing professionally would be amazing and I'll try to get there, but realistically there is a very slim chance of this happening. In all, my main focus is to continue to work and have fun playing the game, while making the best of opportunities given to me, striving towards a chance to continue doing so in college.
