Ryan Dunne '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ryan Dunne. I am currently a junior at Miller Place Highschool in Long Island, NY. Ever since i picked up a lacrosse stick in 5th grade I've had a passion for achieving success on the field. Being literally surrounded by two state championship schools (Mt. Sinai and Rocky Point) has greatly influenced my desire to play lacrosse in the collegiate level. Although my love for lacrosse and all sports plays a key role in my life, i know the true importance of achieving academic excellence. Now that i am beginning my search for college education, I plan on attending a school that can provide and excellent education and also allow me to continue playing lacrosse; the game i love. Hard work has always been a staple to my life. Whether it is working my butt off on the lacrosse field, or studying to keep my GPA in the high 90's. I believe this quality of mine is vital for all coaches who are looking for a quality contributor to the team. Being team captain for two year has helped me develop great characteristics such as leadership. I am hoping to receive and academic scholarship which will allow me to play lacrosse and achieve the education i have worked so hard to deserve. Thank you, Ryan Dunne
