Alec "Bear" Alletto '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0", 205 lb, defender and high school sophomore from Long Island, New York. I have played on LI Express for 8 years.  My LI Express 2016 Barracuda team won the silver metal at the U15 ESPN Nationals this past summer, 2013 in Florida. I have been a starter on my school team since middle school in both lacrosse and football. This year I am a starting lineman on varsity football. After 6 years of competitive alpine ski racing I am currently training as a ski instructor at Stratton Mtn., VT.

I am looking for a small to medium sized school with a strong academic program in the fields of engineering, business and/or environmental science where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would prefer to pursue a school in the east where I have family throughout New England but I would also consider a northwest mountainous region. I believe my best fit would be at a DI or a higher academic DIII level and I will absolutely consider other opportunities.
