Spring 2017 Highl...Personal Statement
Lacrosse was always the sport I loved. I saw my cousin's long stick and always saw myself doing something with it, but I never knew what. After fifth grade I found the Motor City Knights, and signed up for fall ball, but barely missed spring season.
Over the next 3 years I was a midfielder, and never scored a goal, but always stopped them from scoring. My 8th grade season, I asked my coach about trying a long stick. That season I was a starting defenseman in all my games and scored my first goal. My U15 team went 7-4, all of our losses being within 2 goals. That season I was awarded the 2016 Motor City Knights Team Award for the Most Dedicated Player.
People have called me a hard working, dedicated, caring person. I want to use my hard work and dedication on the lacrosse field playing in college, and in the classroom to help the world. I would like to double major in Criminal Justice and Biomedical Engineering.
