I believe I have what it takes to play lacrosse at a collegiate level. I also currently play football, but lacrosse is my main priority. I have been aspiring to play as a lacrosse goalie at a collegiate level since I was 12 years old. And since then, I have been striving to be the best goalie I could possibly be. That includes strength training, conditioning, going to every single practice and game I can, off-season camps and leagues. I've been doing all of these since I was only 10 years of age. But I've been doing these as a goalie since I was 12, but I'm much more different than any other goalie I know. I stood up to be a goalie when no one else wanted to. I was the one to take the responsibility of being a goalie and I stuck to it. I've been a goalie ever since I have made that decision, and my coaches and I would agree that becoming a goalie was the best decision I have ever made. I have also been working on improving my GPA because it is currently a 3.25 and I want it to be a 3.5 at least. So I believe I have what it takes to be a lacrosse goalie at a collegiate level.
I don't want to stop after high school, I love this sport too much to let it go for too long. I am definitely planning to coach lacrosse for a high school, park district, or club team. This sport means the world to me and I will do everything in my power to make sure that I keep playing. Not only do I associate this sport with my life, but I want to associate it with my education, and I believe that being a college student-athlete will help fulfill one of my life goals of succeeding in life. I really do believe that college sports and education will help me become who I want to be.
