I am a two sport student athlete at the varsity level. I love football, but have a true passion for lacrosse. I have played lacrosse from a young age and my coaches at all levels say I am a player that makes all teammates better while pushing them and myself in practices and in games. I take pride in my work ethic and lead by example. I am constantly improving and learning from my experience and especially from my coaches. I possess a high lacrosse IQ, have very good stick skills and use my power and strength to its full advantage when taking on my opponent. I am very interested in Sport Media Communications, Journalism and Business.
I played for Yale Coach Andy Shay's Boneyard Lacrosse 2018 club team. We had great Fall 2016 and Summer 2017 tournament seasons winning most of our games. We competed against the best teams in the country such as The Dukes, Sweetlax, Laxachusetts, 3D New England, LI Sting, Blue Chip Nationals, and several others. We developed a great chemistry as a team and as my coaches would tell you, I was 100% dedicated to practices at Yale and each of the tournaments, all while getting better. I have visited several schools in upstate NY, Boston/New England, Maryland/ Pennsylvania and Florida areas this Fall and have attended several prospect camps. I have also had some overnights, and I have never been as excited to play in college as I am now.
Regarding my High School career, I currently play Close Defense and LSM for Trumbull High School under FCIAC Coach of the Year, Coach Jim Kammerman. I was a second year starter as a Junior this 2017 Spring season. I improved my game awareness, and continued to grow my lax skills while helping some very talented younger players break into the varsity level, creating a team with great chemistry. The highlights of our season were defeating our town rival St Joeseph's High School and for the first time making it to our conference tournament where Darien took the crown, as well as making it to the Connecticut state tournament. Being in the FCIAC conference in Connecticut, I get to play against some of the best teams in the country such as Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Ridgefield and Wilton, among others. Our goal next year is to break into the elite level for our 2018 season.
