Jacob Magaw '17 Recruiting Profile

I can’t wait to go to college and further my education. Not exactly sure what I want to study, but I enjoy the sciences. My dream job is to be a Veterinarian. I am just not sure I can go to school for that long and I know it is a competitive field. I have played team sports since I was four years old. I participate for the love of sports, to keep physically fit and the camaraderie of teammates and coaches. My college goal is to combine both. I have played lacrosse since the fourth grade when I realized how boring little league was. Most of the time we stood around. One of my hockey coaches asked if I would try lacrosse. That spring I played both baseball and lacrosse.  Since then I have been hooked on lacrosse and never went back to baseball again. I have played every position in lacrosse except goalie and have experience as a youth league referee. I believe I would be a great asset to a team due to my versatility, knowledge of the game and ability to work well with others.
