Aidan Cavanaugh '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Aidan Cavanaugh.  This fall I will be a freshman at Castle View High School in Castle Rock, CO.  My goal is to graduate college and attend law school.  I’m open to attending school anywhere in the nation.  I’m a successful lacrosse goalie with 8 years of experience.  My local club is Raptors lacrosse in Castle Rock, CO.  I have played with a number of different travel teams.  I played in Canada with Denver Elite (box lacrosse) and nationally with West Coast Starz, 3D Select, FCA and Mean Machine.  I also compete in 10-meter air pistol events on the national level. I finished 39th at the 2017 USA National Championships in Ft. Benning GA. Currently I am 5’8” and weigh 125 pounds.  I play goalie left handed and had a 64% save average during my 2017 spring season. My goal this year is to play goalie as a freshman for my high school team.  My most memorable accomplishments are finishing 14^th in the 10-meter air pistol Junior Olympic tryouts, playing for the West Coast Starz, and winning the Colorado Cup with 3D select. I was picked as the team MVP when I played for FCA. My best qualities are that I am very coachable, always encouraging others and I have a short memory on all shots, saved and not saved.  I look forward to speaking with you.  Aidan.
