Personal Statement

I am a dedicated and hardworking individual that lives to succeed and doesn't like accepting second place when I can help it. Over all I realize my education is my top priority and that's what I'm after over anything else; even hockey. I've played hockey since I was six and haven't skipped a year to do something else. It's a sport that can be applied to anything in life as it builds character, teaches responsibility, and trains the mind and body to be strong. In life and hockey it is all about how badly you want something and what you're willing to give up. Simply put, sacrifice is directly equal to achievement and I'm dedicated to getting what I want out of life. My biggest dream as of now is to play college hockey and get an education in the process. I'm after a degree in engineering, civil or architectural, and with that and the experiences of college I believe that I'll become a more rounded and successful individual living a comfortable life. My main two goals in life right now are being as successful as possible playing hockey and being educationally confident. I look forward to improving my abilities as a hockey player and as a student at the college level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
