Living with a special needs brother has taught me the value of patience, hard work and overcoming obstacles. It has also taught me about how fortunate I am to be able to play the game I love. Having the privilege to compete for a College Hockey Team while earning my University Degree would be my ideal post-secondary school experience.  As a student athlete, I am driven to compete and succeed at the highest levels of both academics and sports. I've always played hockey at the AAA level and have excelled every year at school (with a 90%+ average). Outside of hockey and scholastics, I have played basketball, volleyball, soccer and lacrosse and enjoy fishing and being around the water. I also maintain a wide circle of friends as I recognize the importance of not doing things in isolation. Having overcome adversity in sports and life I know what it takes to succeed and am committed to following through on my goals. I consider myself to be a young man of character who values hard work, relationships and empathy towards others. Others tell me I am a quiet leader who's actions speak for themselves. They say College can be some of the best years of one's life and my goal is to experience that to the fullest while making my chosen College proud to call me alumni.
