Lucas Poulin '15 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about the game of hockey.  It has taught me so much about myself, teamwork and believing in yourself.  Playing hockey since I was three years old has gotten me through hard times in my life.  My parents divorced when I was five years old and being on the ice was a way for me to forget about what was going on at home.  I have been lucky enough to have wonderfully supportive coaches and teammates who have touched my life and made me a better person.  I would love to play hockey at the college level.  I feel like I am up to any challenge that would improve my game.

My future will always include hockey.  I am hoping to teach physical education at the high school level and be a coach.  My dream is to give back what was given to me by my great coaches. 

I am valuable to any team because I can play both defense and forward positions.  I have been told by many coaches that I give them options.  Playing whatever position my team needs and doing whatever my team needs has always been a priority for me.  I would be an asset to any organization as I always give 110% percent.
