The thought about playing hockey after high school was always just a dream to me... The start of my Sophomore year, was what I would say was a less than average year, until about 6-7 weeks into the season out of no where my coach looks at me and says, Hey after your JV game stay dressed your playing Varsity. I was pumped! In my Game I was flying around all I could think about is getting the chance to play Varsity...Then out of no where, Guy throws an Elbow and breaks my arm, but it didn't only break my arm, it broke my heart... My season was over.... and just in a snap of your fingers, I was on the bench watching my team and my buddies play and for the next 4 months that's all I could think about. From the Day I broke my arm to present day, Many things have changed, I'm Bigger than I was, I'm Faster than I was, I'm Stronger than I was, But the one thing that changed the most was the Desire to play again. Now looking back at the start of my Sophomore year, I realize now that to play this game, You Don't have to be the most Talented one on the ice, You Don't have to be the Fastest one on the ice, But what you do have to be is the one with Heart to play and the desire to win!!
