Matthew Coe '23 Recruiting Profile

In my career I’ve been a captain for 2 year and even when I was not I still played a leadership role. During this past season I have helped my team one on one, or to the whole group.  I am driven with the mentality to win.  In this I want everyone around me to when. So I observe other players to help myself or to help them. Creating a team that can help each other is a very important part of an athletic team. With this, I am always open to improving my game. I lead my teams to, not only victory, but to becoming better after every workout, skate, and practice.  I'm not only a leader on the ice, but off the ice too. In the classroom I encourage others to do well. I love to help others after I have finished my work, so I can help others succeed as well.  As a freshman I was enrolled in 2 advanced classes, one of which is an AP class, and am taking two advanced classes this year as well. My goal is to be the best player I can be and play for juniors and college, as well as making the Deans list in my years at college.
