I was 9 when I saw a Varsity hockey game after open skating in Berkley and that became my goal.
During my 8th grade year I skated with the Royal Oak Eagles 02 AA team and as a practice goalie with Berkley High school Prep team. Fall 2016 Berkley faced a lot of problems, their rink broke - it is now closed it will be torn down within the next year. The berkley prep team got lots of late ice times at a rink 30+mins away. While skating with Berkley Prep, I was invited to skate with a house team so the team didn't disband. I skated preseason with them and 2 games before the found a goalie. They went on to win their championship. I was the only freshman from Berkley sent to the Great Lakes Prep All Star Game.
I am working hard to hopefully get a chance to play hockey in college. This year I made the difficult decision not to continue playing High School hockey and went back to high level travel because I will get more ice time, in games and training on and off ice plus the team goalie coach is at most practices. I am continuing to go to Goalie specific training with Bandits Goalie School through out the year.
I enjoy computers, science, and math in school. I plan on studying engineering, computers or possibly robotics in college.
