2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My goals every year are two-fold: to have a productive year offensively and a solid year defensively.
Although I am more of a defensive forward, when it comes to the offensive zone I can make the pass that needs to be made. In both the defensive and offensive zones I can be counted on to read the play and execute appropriately.
I may not the biggest guy on the ice, but that doesn’t make me scared to take the hit and to make the right play.
I have had the privilege of taking on a leadership role with the teams that I've played for either as a veteran of a team or as one of its captains. I have regularly played on special teams both on the penality kill and on the power play.
Keeping focussed prior to and during games is a skill which I am proud of that translates well to my academic studies.
