Hi, I’m Parker Cutt and I am in 10th grade. I have been playing golf as long as I can remember. I have always been drawn to the game and love being on the course playing or practicing. I am very committed to the game and I practice everyday. Practicing everyday in Park City Utah is very challenging because we have snow on the ground several months of the year. In addition, I do athletic training several times a week. I work very hard on and off the golf course and I am very coachable. I want to play college golf, so I can continue to improve and compete at a high level.
My biggest accomplishment in 2016 was being awarded Player of the Year in the Utah Junior Golf Association in the boys 13-14 age division. My success was due to winning several tournaments and consistently finishing near the top of the leaderboard throughout the season.
I like to challenge myself academically and take several honors classes so I can prepare myself for academic success. I currently have a 3.9 GPA. I have been a member of the National Junior Honor Society for the past three years. In National Junior Honor Society, you have to maintain a 3.5 GPA and participate in community service activities.
In addition to golf, I have several other interests. I play cello in the High School Chamber Orchestra and I also play guitar. I am a very good skier and have been skiing since I was two. I was a competitive ski racer and freestyle skier. I also played competitive soccer and basketball. Other sports I enjoy are water skiing, sailing and tennis.
