~ My collegiate goals are to play golf in college and contribute in a major way to my college team. I strive to do my best in my study habits in my academics as well as my golf game. I feel that your academic career is just as equal as your scholastic career. As a PGA Junior Collegiate, playing in different tournaments has helped with pressure, being under control and learning new aspects of the game.
As a Junior Tour golfer, I have learned that there are more holes to play so I can make a come back at any time, and to always do my best whether or not I finish first or last. And on the times when I have not done my best, I try to go back and review my mistakes and learn from them and improve in the spots that I did not excel well in. What makes me a good candidate for a collegiate team is my attitude and encouragement to always strive for success and never give up. I play to the best of my ability in all circumstances and what others don’t realize is that more holes are to be played therefore put your head down and push for good shots and never over think them. I’m the leader of my team and I encourage my teammates to always try their best and have fun on the course and off and to remember we represent our school. I help to encourage them to focus on anything they do and that’s important to me as the team leader and team player.
