I have only been playing golf for about 2 years, but the sport has come to me very easily both mentally and physically. Starting out, i would shoot 100+ every round, but I was committed to getting better and working harder than anyone I knew played golf my age. With this work ethic, and support from my mom and private coach, I have cut of more then 20 strokes off my score. With my full commitment to the sport, I know I can excel each and every day. Over the past two year, I have played football, basketball, select basketball, and run long distance in track, while trying to play golf as much as I can. I am looking forward to high school, where I will be out on the course each afternoon, grinding away. I have played sports my whole life, but I finally found a sport where I see a path to play at the highest level.
Off the course, I hold a 4.0 average and work my hardest at school. I have served as the student council president of our middle school with over 1500 student, National Junior Honor Society, a core member of our No Place for Hate club, and a leader for our school (FCA) Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school, I volunteer at a local hospital every Friday for 4 hours during the summer, am an active member in my church youth group, along with supporting my twin sister in her competitive sports. My family and my faith keep me grounded and keep me reaching for my goals. Golf is my passion.
I am fully committed to working my hardest to get to the collegiate level. I will push myself to becoming a better golfer, as well as a better person. I thrive on being coached, and use the coaching to get better, work harder, and have a "Never Quit" attitude.
