Austin Bennett '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Bennett. I am looking for an opportunity to continue playing golf in college. 

I am a 6'0" tall, 190 pound, athletic, and teachable golf student who has the ability to produce good scores at important times. My game has progressed further with each year that I have been playing. Within the past 3 years I have shaved off approximately 25 strokes from my average 18 hole score.

My athletic goals for college are to have the opportunity to play on the team even if Im not in the matches I would still like the opportunity to practice with the team and gain more skills so that maybe I will have a chance on the team another year.

My academics are also important to me as I have tried my best to maintain good grades and better than a 2.8 GPA. My desired majors are to study Business Management and Accounting.

I would prefer to go to a college located in the eastern central (Pennsylvania and Ohio) and southeast states (Carolina's, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida).

A year round schedule would be nice to play but I realize that most schools only play in the spring and fall. If I had the chance to attend a larger school or a smaller school I could have different types of oppurtunities. I would like either because I would be able to have one on one time with my teachers and coaches at the small school, and at a larger school there are more students and athletes and larger programs where more positions are available.
