Jonathon Blair '16 Recruiting Profile

I've had many people tell me that college was some of the best years of their lives, and I intend on it to be the same for me. I didn't start playing golf until my sophomore year, but once I did I became addicted. It's one of the only sports that I actually enjoy both practice and matches/tournaments. That's where I believe I can truly help a team the most. With my current high school team I make practices so competitive and enjoyable by playing little side games like closest to the pin against my teammates. I honestly believe I'm one of the hardest working high school golfers in the state. During the summer I would skip sleeping in and be up from sun up to sun down just to be able to practice and play. That hard work has transferred to the classroom for me over the past years. I learned how to properly study and it has benefit my learning process. I look forward to learning, growing, and playing golf in college.
