Hogan Nance '20 Recruiting Profile

I was born 2 months early weighing 2 lbs.  I've been a fighter my whole life and you'll never meet someone more committed to doing what it takes, and becoming the best I can be for you and your program.

As an 8th Grader,  I tried out, and competed at the Varsity Level for,  Metrolina Christian Academy and made First Team All-Conference.

This past year, my swing coach Jackson Taylor (a former D1 player at Davidson) and I came to the conclusion that to make it to the next level there were some necessary swing changes that HAD to be made.  There have been a lot of good and bad days on the range and course while working on these.  Despite this, I still made All Conference at Parkwood High School (while playing #1 as a Freshman).  I really feel like these changes have started to take root and am confident of high tournament success this late summer and fall.

I'm an achiever in the classroom as well, and understand that the first word in the label "Student Athlete" is "Student."

I also volunteer with The First Tee of Charlotte at their Union Country Chapter under the leadership of Alex Helms. I really love helping kids love this game.
