Hello, I am a 16 year old junior from New Hartford, New York. I am looking to major in biology, or something in the life sciences category. This upcoming summer, 2014, I will be playing in many AJGA tournaments, and I have already won and placed in many tournaments throughout New York State, Central New York and locally. Some of my best accomplishments include: 1) Winning the NYS Junior PGA Championship for my age division (13-15), at age 13, 2) Placing third in the 2013 NYS Boys' Amateur at Skaneateles Country Club at age 14, 3) Playing on the Varsity golf team at New Hartford High School since 7th grade, 4) Placing and winning many CNY Junior PGA events, 5) Placing T30 in the NYS Junior Amateur Championship at age 15 out of 78, 6) Placing T2 in the IJGT Rochester Open at age 16, and earning an exemption into the International Junior Masters, 7) Breaking 70 for the first time this past summer at age 15, and 8) being a first team high school all-star my freshman and sophomore years.
I enjoy playing competitive golf and there is nothing I would love more than to play college golf for a Division I team. I have played in many tournaments throughout the Northeast, New York State, Central New York, and locally. I enjoy the competitive atmosphere. I work hard, practicing at the range and practice green for hours at my local golf course. I have a wonderful work ethic and feel I would fit in perfectly in a college golf setting.
Thank you for taking time to read this and have a nice day.
