Nathan Wright '19 Recruiting Profile

Golf has been my passion ever since my father gave me my first set of cut down clubs.  It has taught me values such as integrity and honesty.   As a caddie at the Maidstone Club in Easthampton , NY for the past 4 years I’ve grown in character and maturity.   During that time I’ve met an ex-US President and this year I was fortunate enough to carry Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry’s bag. It was an honor to be chosen for this loop from over 40 caddies, which I feel attests to my work commitment and maturity.   I realize in life you never stop learning and I try to observe as many excellent golfers as possible.  Next year I have been accepted to carry the score placard at the US Open at Shinnecock on Long Island, NY.  My goal for college is not only to play golf at the highest level but to contribute and be a leader in the classroom as well. I know wherever I choose to attend I will be a positive influence and contribute to the advancement of any program I participate in.
