My name is Dylan Plis and I am currently a senior at West Genesee High School in Central New York. When I was three years old I was given a set of golf clubs, and since that time you can't get a golf club out of my hands. My dream is to play college golf while I pursue my studies in Finance.
I currently play on my high school golf team, the AJGA, IJGT and CNY Jr. PGA tour. I am a high honor roll student and also spend time volunteering in my community.
Growing up in Central New York, where golf cannot be played year round, may be seen as an obstacle for most; however I do everything I can to play and improve my game all year long. During the snow covered months, I weight train in the gym, I practice my swing in an enclosed golf dome, and I compete in as many southern tournaments as I can. I feel that I would be a strong asset to anyone's roster. I am dedicated on and off the course and I am a very hard worker. I believe I must practice and play hard, and I believe in giving the team, my coach, and my teachers my very best. I believe it is up to me to be committed to being the most accomplished golfer that I can be and give 110% in everything I do. The passion for the game of golf and my commitment to improving mine is what I will give you and your team. I believe in my ability to be a great college golfer, and am looking for a program that believes in me too.
