Jay Hickey '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" left handed golfer from Albuquerque, NM, and will graduate in 2012. I have played as a starter on my high school golf team since the 8th grade. My team finished 3rd in state my freshman year; fourth my sophomore. My teammates and I are hoping for a state title this year. I enjoy the individualism of the game but the team aspect and chemistry appeal to me just as much. I would prefer attending and playing golf at a smaller school. I'm primarily interested in schools located in the western states, however, I would not exclude considering opportunities in other regions of the country. Because I attend a Christian school, I may be more inclined to give a Christian college higher consideration. I am uncertain, at this time, what curriculum I would like to study in college.
