My name is Patric Langley. I started playing golf competitively when I was thirteen years old. I began on the Pine Belt Junior Golf Tour. I won one tournament and finished second in three more when I was fifteen. These tournaments were only nine holes though. When I was seventeen, I won another PBJGT event. This was an eighteen hole event at Laurel Country Club. In 2015, I joined the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour and the Mississippi Junior Golf Association. I played in two SJGT tournaments and three MJGA tournaments. My best finish came at a MJGA event where I tied for eighth. This was the State Games Championship which was held at the Country Club of Canton. I shot 81 on the first day and 76 on the second day.
During my 2015 high school season, I finished second at my home tournament, the Wayne Academy Invitational, with a score of 72. At the South State tournament which was held at Wolf Hollow Golf Club, I was the fourth low medalist with a score of 76.
The best highlights of my 2015 high school golf season came when I won the Newton County Academy Invitational and the Carr Haskins Invitational. The NCA Invitational was held at Newton Country Club. I shot a 77 there. The Carr Haskins Invitational was not only a tournament involving fifteen other schools, but also our district tournament. This tournament was held at Quail Hollow Golf Course at Percy Quin State Park. I shot a 74 and had to go to a playoff. I won the tournament on the second playoff hole.
