Nicholas Lechtenberg '20 Recruiting Profile

Since I was two years old I have been swinging a golf club and have never stopped working at the game.  During the past year I have hired a swing coach (Brent Snyder) as I wanted to take my golf game to the next level and that has taught me how to take feedback and turn it into some good.  My motto is that everyday you can get better in life and in golf.   During the summer months I volunteer at our golf camp for the youth which is a great way to give back and also by teaching you become a better golfer.

My goals in college are to get a great education and play competitive golf.  What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I'm very hard worker and can play any role on the team.  I was a starter on my high school team as a 7th grader so I'm used to dealing with pressure and having to prove myself.  For a team to be successful it needs more than six good golfers on its team and each one of them pushing the person above them to get better.
