Personal Statement

I really love playing competitive golf, the opportunity to play golf at the collegiate level is one of my biggest aspiration's in life. In the summer I am constantly working on my game, whether it be with my instructor, Josh Nahm, who has worked with Hank Haney or reading books such as “fearless golf” to improve my mental game. My passion for the game started when my dad first took me to the course when I was in first grade. My love for golf has only gotten stronger since then. The indescribable feeling of winning a golf tournament is something I can’t get enough of it’s what fuels me to spend countless hours on the range, to putt and make 100 four footers in a row. My work ethic on and off the course is what I believe will set me apart. My current GPA at Wamego High is a 3.80. I have been enrolled in three advanced placement classes (AP psych, AP Language Arts and Advanced placement U.S history) I stay as focused in the classroom as I do on the golf course. I really look forward to my future in golf both as a player and a student at the collegiate level.
