November 2013Personal Statement
I started golfing in 8th grade with my dad. I loved it from the beginning and still want to play all the time. I joined the high school golf team as a Freshman and played on the Varsity team all 4 years and participated in every Varsity tournament all 4 years.
My goal has always been to go on and compete at the college level. I give and will continue to give every practice and competition 150%. I will not let my college down and my determination and dedication will show. My goal in high school was to achieve state competition and achieved that goal. I enjoy competing and competed in over 30 MAJGT and IJGA tournaments during summer breaks.
One of my goals is to be a scratch golfer and to be the top amateur golfer in the country. With my determination and dedication, this will happen.
